Vendor Information for the Wedding Road Show 2011
Last year it was a great pleasure in working with many of our wedding service members during our Second Annual Wedding Road Show. We are pleased to announce that on Sunday April 10, 2011, the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce will be holding its Third Annual Wedding Road Show. After speaking to brides, members and sponsors we have tweeked this year's event to be more bride friendly; while still keeping the element of excitement that last year's multiple location tour achieved.
Number of Stops
The biggest concern was the number of stops which allowed some businesses to achieve a larger number of attendees than others. We have been working with several members on making the Road Show successful for all involved and have decided to limit the stops to fewer than 12 venues. All venues in the Road Show have agreed to host several chamber wedding service members at their location. The map will only list the venues so the bride will have an easier time following the tour. The Wedding Service vendors will be featured on the Venue page where they are located during this event. They will also have a designated sign off box on the form that the bride needs to complete to be entered for Grand Prizes.
Wedding Service Vendors which include accommodations, restaurants, caterers, planners, florists, photographers, apparel, invitations, transportation, favors, jewelry, cakes, and salon and spa services will have an opportunity to connect with the brides on many levels. In addition to presenting services at a venue and offering individual prize drawings. All vendors have the option of hosting an open house at their business location. This can be promoted to the Road Show attendees to stop by on their way to the other venue locations or after Road Show hours. These stops will not be mapped in the Wedding Road Show Tour Book but would prove a useful option for brides seeking more information on a particular service.
Wedding Road Show Locations
We have the following eleven Wedding Venues as stops on the 2010 Wedding Road Show. We ask that you if you have a preference on placement to contact the venues directly, make arrangements and then send in registration form with fee. If you prefer to the Wedding Road Show Committee to place you, then send request in without the fee. You will be notified once we have a confirmed location. You must send in fee upon notification for your spot to be held. Please contact Banquet and Facility Managers at the following locations: Nicole at the Boat House, Mallard Island Yacht Club and the Stateroom, Ginny or Megan at Bonnet Island Estate (after 2pm) , Lisa at Brant Beach Yacht Club, Pete at Daddy O Hotel, Sondra at The Gables, Larry at Holiday Inn Manahawkin, Christopher at Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts & Sciences (optional stop), Jaime at The Sea Shell Beach Resort & Beach Club, Letty at Surf City Yacht Club and Regina at the Tuckerton Seaport.
